Helpful Services for the Neighborhood

Hi all, in lieu of neighborhood news, here are some special services local businesses are providing that can help mitigate the effects of the shutdown. I’ll try to keep this list updated regularly. And if you have something to add, please email me at president@highlandneighborhood.com with your tips.

Fresh Plus

I know this one isn’t in the neighborhood, but the Fresh Plus at 408 E 43rd St is the most mellow grocery store right now and it’s well-stocked—they actually had paper towels (as of 3/31-one roll per customer, but still…).

Look out for your neighbors!

Above all, look out for your neighbors! If you have an elderly neighbor who doesn’t seem to have regular contact with family members or friends, reach out to see if they’re doing OK. And if you need some assistance, email me at president@highlandneighborhood.com.
